MILWAUKEE, WI  - East Towne Ballrooms earned the Top Studio award at the Wisconsin State Ballroom Championships, April 19-23.  The event was held in Milwaukee, WI at the Pfister Hotel. 

Other awards that were received included three of the five Top Teacher awards going to Martin Voight, John Abrams, and Martin Cawston.

East Towne Ballrooms had over 40 students attending the event and they competed in Newcomer through Gold levels of dance.  The students danced in both American and International styles.

East Towne Ballrooms provides three levels of instruction. Private lessons are offered, tailored to the dancer's specific needs, providing the optimum training environment. Group and casual social dance instruction is offered as well as practice parties where dancers can meet other members of all levels.  The studio's students range from age 4 to 82 with the average age being 30 to 45 years.

With seven  teachers, all current or former national and international competitors, East Towne Ballrooms has produced more than 23 national champions.
